Parent Information

Parents are asked to:

• Review the team schedule

• Help athletes arrive on time

• Complete required forms

• Pay fees or communicate about payment needs

• Sign up for volunteer roles

• Read team communications

• Support athletes in meeting team expectations

• Help with regattas, fundraising, or team events as needed

Dues (see the Join the Team page for more info)

• High School Dues: $900 per season via RevTrak

  • • Multiple Rower Discount [rowers from the same family/household]: 1st rower: $900, Siblings: $450

• Middle School Dues: $265 per season via Saline Community Ed

Uniforms

• $90 (Order via RevTrak)

Carpooling

• Riders give $75 reimbursement to Drivers for gas, etc., per season

US Rowing Annual Membership & Waiver

• $25 for Basic Membership Register at: https://membership.usrowing.org

Team communication will be shared through email and the Band application.  

Families should make sure both athletes and parents/guardians are connected to the correct communication channels.

Parent volunteers are essential to the team. Regattas and team events require help with food, transportation, equipment, tent setup, cleanup, fundraising, and other support roles.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Regatta food tent

• Trailer loading/unloading

• Team meals

• Fundraising events

• Banquet planning

• Uniform distribution

• Photography

• Equipment support

• Communications

• Board or booster roles

Reimbursement: All shopping items and towing mileage can be reimbursed.  Please keep all receipts in single files (only regatta items included on the receipt), scan them and ensure they are all oriented the same. The Saline Schools Check/Reimbursement Form can be used to submit expenses.   [Use this form if something has already been paid for and money needs to be given to the person who has paid for the item.
